Image: Victoria Mill, locomotive Sydney (the sandboxes being a dead set giveaway) and a load of fulls. Chris Hart suggests that going by the loco's livery, the picture was taken in the period from the mid sixties to the early seventies. 'Bins have been around at Victoria since the late 50's. The first bins were small boxy affairs with iron sides and looked like boxes placed on cane trucks. I can just remember them from my childhood. After that, there were the 3 tonners then the 4 tonners came in. The 4 tonners in the picture, I doubt are even the first of their ilk.
