Hans Hammarsten of Sweden has never visited the cane fields but is
quite interested in modelling industrial railways, including a small
banana plantation in Hn15 (1/24th on 16.5 mm track) and an 009 sugar
cane train. Here are some of his models and their inspiration.

With the exception of the peat wagons (bottom image), the other models would all be appropriate for modelling a generic Queensland cane railway. The 2-6-2 (or 0-6-0) is a proposed modification of the On30 Bachmann Mogul.
