- 2011 Australian Narrow Gauge Convention
- Ian Fainges (ifainges @ hotmail.com) of Brisbane is the Convention Coordinator, especially the Model and Speaker coordination. The Workshops Museum, Ipswich, is responsible for the Museum side of the Convention, including the paperwork, catering, registrations, etc.
- Ian indicates the focus will be on Australian prototype/history to make the theme more local but that there will also be a range of other narrow gauge interests to round out the Convention.

- Recent On30 Locomotives in the Australian Market
- Inscale Models will release a Pectett 0-4-0T kit in April 2010. They released a 6 ton 0-4-0T Krauss (kit or ready-to-run) and brakevan at the 2009 Australian Narrow Gauge Convention.
- Phil Badger (Badger Bits) has been working on several new On30 Queensland sugar cane models and had a freelance centre-cab diesel (a 44 tonner conversion) available for the Australian Narrow Gauge Convention in 2007. A model of Bli Bli was released in 2008 and Rob Nesbitt has been building a sample model. Photos: almost completed loco and chassis.
