All classes are required to conform to all applicable Covid-19 restrictions including social distancing and good hygiene (hand wash, etc.). Check the Resources page for online resources that can help you maintain your practice during lockdown or when travelling.
These exercises are being taught by qualified tai chi/qigong instructors. All care will be taken to ensure your wellbeing and safety. Any instructions given are intended as guidance only and you should not do anything that you consider inappropriate for you. These exercises are not intended as a substitute for medical advice or care. Please consult your medical practitioner before you begin or if you have any questions or concerns about the suitability of these classes.
Social distancing and good hygiene (hand washing, etc.) are recommended, masks are optional. Please DO NOT ATTEND if you are at all unwell.
Protection from the sun and insect life is also recommended, as is a hat to protect from the occasional "gift" from our birdlife.
Listen to your body and back-off or adapt your practice to what your body is more capable of doing.

Saturday: 9:00-10:00am, Rockhampton Botanical Gardens (The Tamarind Tree Line -- between the Japanese Gardens and the War Memorial), with occasional classes on the Capricorn Coast (details by e-mail). Site Map.
All Rockhampton tai chi participants are welcome to attend, regardless of your fitness or skill level. Multiple instructors provide small group instruction based on level of Khor-style tai chi attainment. AATC class fees ($5/session) apply.
Classes continue through school breaks, including throughout the summer. Summer classes may be less formal but will continue every Saturday as normal -- Fees apply.

Participants work in a single group consisting of practitioners at several levels of practice. Activities include Qigong and balance bar type exercises and the first three levels of the AATC tai chi set.
